My name is Andrew Carter and I’m the creator of the brand, Healthy Freelancer. I’m currently a freelance translator living in beautiful Barcelona, Spain.
I created this line of clothing, and Healthyfreelancers.com because I believe that freelancing is so much more than the work. If you’re like me than you became a freelancer to change your lifestyle and be able to work when you want and on what you want without anyone telling you what to do. However, as I was making the transition from desk-jockey to freelancer I realized that there was a void of information dealing with the ‘not-so-professional’ aspects of freelancing.
I found hundreds of articles about invoicing, finding great clients, improving pay but I didn’t find anything about how to create your own schedule, or diet, or the social impacts that working at home has on your psyche.
My goal is to bring you affordable, comfortable clothing that you can wear while working at home, at the cafe or your co-working space. As freelancers, we have the freedom to wear what we want, as long as we get our work done. Shouldn’t we have some fun with it?
